Mrs. Everette-Duncan has served as a member of the Prince George’s County and Montgomery County Women’s Legislative, Planning and Briefing Committee where she enjoyed advocating for equal rights for women and children.
In 1993, she founded MentorMe® Enterprise, Inc to help women manage the day-to-day stress of home, office and personal life. The company teaches a "total life balance" concept that helps women to maintain good health. Good Health consists of: mental, spiritual, financial, social and physical health.
While attending the Alliance of Black Telecommunication Employees National Convention in Dallas, Texas 1996, Mrs. Everette-Duncan was nominated for “Outstanding Chapter Member”, and the recipient of the “Outstanding Community Service” and “Outstanding Member” awards.
Her volunteer skills enabled her placement on the NAACP (Howard County) Board of Executives as the Secretary to the Office of the President and later to assume the position as Chairperson of the Health Committee.
During these endeavors, Mrs. Everette-Duncan received the “Partner of Choice Award” provided to leading performers of AT&T on behalf of the President of the company.
As a graduate of the University of Maryland 1996, Mrs. Duncan attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Technology & Management with a secondary concentration in Paralegal Studies: Criminal Law.
She attended the “Women’s Leadership and Change Program” at John’s Hopkins University 1998 in pursuit of a Masters in Information and Telecommunications: INFOSECURITY.
Mrs. Everette-Duncan founded MentorMe® Drug Testing Services, LLC in 2007 and has prepared a series of educational programs in local communities to instruct those who are concerned with the drug epidemic in their neighborhood. As a qualified drug test consultant and TIPS® Certified Trainer she advocates for a safe and drug free environment in all communities.
Mrs. Everette-Duncan served in the United States Air Force Reserve 1981-1987 during which time she received the “Commander’s Achievement Award”. As alumni of the Dale Carnegie Institute of Human Development and Public Speaking, Mrs. Duncan received the honor of “Most Highest to Achieve” by election of her peers and program directors.

Mrs. Everette-Duncan has authored several community news articles and openly conducted several community workshops discussing the use of toxic chemicals in common everyday household, personal hygiene and nutritious products.
For her endeavors in the community, business and professional arena, Mrs. Everette-Duncan is listed as a member in the NATIONAL REGISTER'S WHO'S WHO IN EXECUTIVES AND PROFESSIONALS 2004 EDITION.
