2nd Segment: Driving the Buzzards Away

Driving the Buzzards Away – is a keeper! (No Pun Intended). William Craig III showed us “The Buzzards” hanging around our life just waiting to pick from us – to steal from us – to destroy us. The Buzzards could be co-workers, family or friends. They are Show Boaters who love to be seen and heard. Drive those Buzzards Away!

    1st Segment: Dear Momma

Our first segment with Dwayne Ross, Author and Speaker and Co/Host of The Chop Chop, introduced us to the Woman, who lives in the ghetto doing her best to raise a son safe from the streets. She may not be the best or most hopeful, but to her son she is a Proverbs 31 woman. She is the mother he soon says “I appreciate you” to – just as the scripture says the Proverb 31 woman’s children will rise to call her blessed. Dwayne fast-forwarded to our day and time by introducing us to Leslie Wright, who is a single mother having birthed a 9-year old CEO. There is hope and “yes we can!”.

2nd Segment: Menopause - Charge It!

Dr. Michelle discussed Menopause in women – but what a delight to hear that there is a similar plight that men suffer through as well. Andropause — also known as male menopause — is said to be the result of a gradual drop in testosterone which is an androgen.  When andropause occurs, it is considered to be a deficiency state in which the hormone testosterone goes below the normal range for an aging male. Andropause is caused by the reduction of hormones testosterone and dehydroepiandrosterone in middle-aged men.

Our 2nd segment completed the discussions of taxes in “She’s Got Her Hustle On!” Yes, biblically based, we are responsible to paying taxes and are admonished to be “Good Citizens” in the Kingdom. So if we are held accountable for this act, let’s ensure we are filing correctly, timely and are receiving all the benefits due us.

    Segment: For Your Own Protection

We wasted no time bringing Jamila Nero into the discussion. It’s happening all around us in the United States and abroad. Gang rapes are becoming prominent and starting as early as 11-years old. What’s worse is that the stories told are not believed.

An 11-year old girl taken to an abandoned house in the neighborhood and gang raped by several boys was not believed when the case went to court because she looked older than her years.

A 16-year old teen girl drugged and repeatedly raped by the football team couldn't remember what happened until she saw the video on social media.

The woman abducted and taken to a home where the bodies of 11-women lay deceased. She managed to escape, told the police, they didn't believe her. She was charged with the murders of the 11-women an await death row.

A Fortune 500 Executive, who's life changed when she defended herself against a sexual harasser. Charged with attempted murder, sentenced to prison and still paying thousands in restitution because HE was injured as she fought him off.
